Digging out of the snow ❄️ + a new Farm to Table resource

Hi teacher friends 💛

If you’re anything like us, you’re still digging out from all the snow days last week ❄️☃️ Between late starts, schedule changes, and being stuck indoors… it’s been one of those weeks.

In our classroom right now, we’re jumping back into routine by reading about the Westminster Dog Show 🐕 and having so much fun designing Valentine’s Day boxes as part of our geometry unit. We’re working on perimeter, area, and volume, and it’s been such a great hands-on way to keep everyone engaged (and excited for Valentine’s Day 💕).

Speaking of hands-on learning… I just shared a new blog post all about my Farm to Table Science Bundle, which brings real-world learning into science in a way that really clicks for students.

This bundle helps students explore where everyday foods come from — from farm to table — using simple text, visual supports, and differentiated activities designed especially for special education and inclusion classrooms.

Inside the bundle, students learn about:
🌾 Wheat
🥛 Milk
🍫 Chocolate
🥚 Eggs
🍊 Orange juice
🍇 Grape jelly

If you’re looking for meaningful, low-prep science activities that connect to real life (especially during these long winter weeks!), this set has been such a great fit in my classroom.

As always, thank you so much for being here and supporting my little corner of teacher resources 💛 Stay warm!
