Hey Teacher Friends! Fall is almost here! It's my favorite season, both inside and outside the classroom. One of my favorite self-care activities in the Fall is rewarding myself with a PSL from Starbucks on my way to work on Fridays! If you enjoy all things Fall, check out these fall fine motor resources to use this season! ๐ Warm up those fine motor skills...Warm up those fine motor skills with a Build It Activity! When I taught an elementary resource room, this was one of my favorite warm-ups! Give every student a can of Play-Doh and put a picture of an object up on the board. Ask students to build the picture out of Play-Doh. Some students like to get creative and try to build the object all on their own, while other students may need a model. Dough mats give students a great model to follow and they are perfect for students with limited fine motor skills! Add these fun Fall Dough Mats and some Play-Doh to your morning tubs and you are all set! Another fun Fall Fine Motor Activity to check out is my Fall Fine Motor Packets! These packets are No-Prep, Low Ink, and great for extra practice and early finishers! ๐ What's going on in my classroom? We have finished our Fall assessments and are wrapping up the Amusement Park activities from the Unique Learning Curriculum. My Resource Room ELA class is starting to read The Call of the Wild this week, and my Life Skills class is starting to plan our Fall hiking trip to a neighborhood park. I foresee a trail mix activity in our future... ๐ What is coming next?
Have a great week! ~ Ashlee |
